The Advantage

Our improved Pole Barn Kits Truss System creates a roof structure that is the same pitch as the roof. This type of system creates a much more attractive vaulted ceiling look. Also the building is insulated at the roof instead of the ceiling . This eliminates the need for ventilation in the attic.

Conventional trusses used in pole barns and conventional “stick” construction create a birds nest appearance and reduces the potential height of the roof.Untitled-6

The Roof

The Roof System is unique because we use beams with perlins that are locked into the beams in notches. In pole barns and other truss systems the perlins are typically only nailed to the top surface of the trusses.

The Walls

This first picture shows a conventional metal building wall section with Cee perlins. One thing you will notice with a metal building, if if you are going to build out the inside, you will typically be building an whole new set of walls right next to the walls of the building. This created double the work and the overall price of the building,.

With the standard pole barn kit, your legs are typically sunk into the ground for support. Having your support legs in the ground will only increase the rate at which the building will rot form moisture or attract wood eating bugs. The girts are nailed to the outside of the poles. Again if you intend to build-out the inside of this building or if you desire to have a safe building for your animals, the strength of these walls compared to our improved pole barn system leaves much to be desired

Our improved pole barn kits have the strongest walls available in any kit building available today. Our Buildings are designed with 2×6 walls and 2×8 perlins making them extremely efficient to insulate. The roof is ready to insulate with r-25 or better batt insulation and the walls are ready to insulate with r-19 or better batt insulation. Girt and perlin spacing is 24” which is ideal for installation of both insulation and most interior and exterior wall finishes.
