Pole Barn Kits
From the first look you will know that these are not your standard pole barn kits.
Welcome to the home of the patented post frame building system or improved pole barn kits dot com
One of the most common post frame building systems used for ranch homes, horse barns and other farm and ranch buildings comes in the form of pole barn kits. Pole barn kits are a design that utilizes poles anchored below ground level with wood girts attached vertically from one post to another. These girts are usually nailed or screwed to the outside of the posts. Once the girts are all installed trusses are set in place spanning from one post across the building to another post. On top of the trusses are perlins running from one truss to the next. On a typical building the posts are 8’ apart with girts and perlins two to three apart.
I’ve checked out the market pretty thoroughly, and I’ve decided the your improved pole barn / post-frame is the best building for the money – CR, truck dispatch operator, Kalispell
Pole barns have several advantages including the speed that they can be installed. A building can be put up in a relatively short amount of time using standard equipment. A Pole barn can also built to span up to 80 ft. Pole barns use trusses that are engineered to span the width of the building. The biggest advantage to a pole barn however is the fact that they are relatively cheap.
Another post frame building that is an improvement over the pole barn is the patented Post-Frame system we supply. Our Post Frame Building is similar to pole barn kits, in that it has posts that are spaced usually on 12 foot centers. Instead of using conventional trusses though our Post Frame Building uses a beam system that is engineered to span up to 100 feet clear span. One of the main differences between the two systems is that the posts and the beams as well as the system as a whole are all engineered in our post frame buildings while the trusses are the only part of the pole barn that are engineered. With tour post frame Building the girts are installed into prebuilt pockets on the posts and beams, creating a much stronger building frame. The girts and perlins are spaced on 24 inch centers providing a frame capable of receiving nearly any type of siding or roofing available.

I’ve been real satisfied with both of the buildings you built for me. I’d say they’re 100 times better than the pole barns I have – TA, rancher, Big Timber
Our Post Frame Buildings take advantage of the basic systems most pole barn kits have yet adds some very important improvements over the pole barn. Both buildings are post frame buildings, but our post frame Building is a much stronger and versatile building at a comparable price.
Our post frame building system was designed and engineered by two men who were building pole barns, but wanted a post-frame building that would be a substantial improvement over the pole buildings. Two features of the building, the stacked cord truss, and the steel knee brace, became patented parts of our buildings. Our facility is located in an ideal location for a building factory, since it’s in the heart of great logging country. The Douglas fir and tamarack lumber harvested locally is exceptionally good, strong wood for building frames.
Small improvements have been made to the buildings over the years, but the basic design remains the same. The structural engineers we’ve worked with over time have always, without exception, been very favorably impressed with the simplicity, strength and adaptability of the design. You will not find this strength in conventional pole barn kits. Our buildings have been used in a very wide variety of applications, both personal and commercial.
If your in the market for pole barn kits we think you will be pleasantly surprised that for close to the same amount of time and money, you can get an engineered building that will last a lifetime and then some.
